Hello, my name is Tom (Mr Slattery) and this is my blog about the books I read and enjoy. I am a Deputy Head teacher in a Primary School in Birmingham and very passionate about reading for pleasure and children’s books.
I mainly enjoy Middle Grade books but I have a great love for picture books and occasionally dip into Young Adult and mainstream fiction and non-fiction.
Who knows how this may evolve and I may from time to time blog about education too. I’m stepping tentatively into the unknown…
